The properties of sumac and the many uses are well known. The powder of the vinegar tree spice is therefore becoming more and more popular in our everyday lives. Our sumac fruit, also known as vinegar tree spice with its intense red to red-brown color, is gently dried to maintain the raw food quality.
Ingredients:
Sumach, dried, ground. Maximum 5% salt. Our sumac powder is gently ground. The powder does not contain any flavor enhancers or artificial flavors and is vegan.
Preparation suggestion:
Sumac powder is perfect for refining oriental dishes and spice mixes. It is used with dishes such as kebabs and other grilled meats, as well as with side dishes, mezzes and dressings. In many kitchens, such as the Armenian, Iranian and Lebanese, it is considered an excellent substitute for vinegar or lemon.
